Kalita Wave

The Kalita Wave is a forgiving brewer.

Where the V60 is a single cone with a single hole, demanding precision, the Kalita Wave is a flat-bottomed basin with three small drainage holes and a paper filter that ripples like a folded fan. The geometry slows water down. The bed stays even. The cup tends to come out balanced even when your pour does not.

This makes the Kalita the brewer for company, for early mornings, for the days you want a great cup without the ritual of perfection. It will not punish you for being a few seconds late or a few grams off.

Like the V60, it comes from Japan. Like the V60, it was made for clarity. Unlike the V60, it does not require you to be a saint.
